Lead Security Engineer

Job Roles

As part of the Security Engineering team, your role will consist of modifying and improving the threats systems whilst focusing on and analyzing data, creating log books, and presenting your findings. As this company loves evolving and modernizing, you will be given the opportunity to discover and recommend new technologies and systems which you think the company will benefit from, and look into security monitoring which will provide day-to-day stats.
In this role, you will be expected to review solution architecture and support other security engineers in training, as well as encourage the experienced engineers to transfer over to cloud-based systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering
• Experience with Windows
• A collaborative personality who loves working in a team
• A strong understanding of Cloud Security Concepts/Systems
• Must have a strong understanding and good knowledge of risk concepts, and security controls
• A strong understanding of shift-let security and the DevOps model
• Be familiar with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform
• Must be familiar with ISO and with the National Institute of Standards and Technology
• Good knowledge of network infrastructure

Not essential, but beneficial

• 3+ Years' experience with Cloud Security Program
• Familiar with security management
• Cloud Certification
