Job Description:
As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems, networks, and data from potential security threats. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, conducting regular security assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design and implement security solutions, respond to incidents, and provide expertise in risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest security trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect the company's systems, networks, and data.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and address potential weaknesses.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to information security.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
