This is what the data get up to:- Calculated demand estimates will help us manage resources effectively as we expand into new European nations.
- To help us select the appropriate carrier for each shipment and to provide clients with more assurance about when their item will arrive, we estimate delivery timeframes.
- Supporting companies in making better decisions, such as by gaining more knowledge about the efficiency and cost of various delivery services.
- Improving customer impact understanding using functional correlation analysis.
- Enhancing our processes by identifying the best ways to choose products in the distribution centre, the best locations for stock, etc.
What you’ll be doing:
As one of the first members of the Data Team, you will be developing a cutting-edge data warehousing system utilising DBT, Python, and AWS. You will be in charge of creating and managing a scalable, reliable, and effective data warehouse that satisfies the requirements of our business. You will possess a thorough grasp of data modelling, data integration, ETL procedures, and data warehousing concepts- .Assisting us in switching from our existing BigQuery configuration towards an AWS-based data warehouse like Redshift.
- Create and put into practise a contemporary ETL process utilising DBT, Python, and Redshift.
- Create and keep up ETL procedures for transferring data from initial systems to the data warehouse.
- Make and keep data models that are reflective of the demands of the company.
- Improve database efficiency and data security.
- Work together with data scientists, analysts, and other partners to produce solutions that satisfy the data needs.
- Establish privacy and security of data policies to make sure that you are in compliance with all applicable laws and requirements.
Your Profile:
- You have management expertise with contemporary data warehouses systems
- You have knowledge of managing data networks as code using Terraform.
- You've built data modification pipelines before using dbt.
- Strong familiarity with relational databases.
- Having knowledge of AWS services.
- Knowledge of best practices for managing data, privacy, security, and accountability.
- Good at problem-solving
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
